CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

All participants are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentation

or for the case discussion forum at the
2^nd International Epilepsy Colloquium: 

PEDIATRIC EPILEPSY SURGERY

In order to standardise the abstract layout we ask you to read the preparation guidelines CAREFULLY!

Guidelines for preparation and submission of abstracts: 

  1.  Abstracts may only be submitted via Internet. Abstracts submitted via Fax or E-mail will 
       not be accepted.

  2.  All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.

  3.  Abstracts for posters should contain original material and presented to include objectives,
       methods, results and a conclusion.

  4.  Abstracts for the case discussion forum must include a short and comprehensive 
       presentation of electro-clinical and neuroimaging data. The "question to be answered 
       following discussion" or "the take home message for resolved cases" must be clearly stated
       in the abstract. Just the promise of further discussion is not acceptable. Only cases with 
       video documentation available will be considered for presentation. If the proposal is 
       accepted by the scientific committee authors will be asked to send a DVD with the video 
       material at least a month before the Colloquium.

  5.  Abstracts may not be longer than 250 words. For the case discussion forum you may also 
       send an explanatory Word document (not more than 2 pages and/or a Powerpoint including
       pertinent imaging or EEG plates).

  6.  If an abstract is accepted, the presenting author must register and attend the congress.
       Acceptance of a paper implies payment of the registration fee by the presenting author.
